From all around the world, we came here to become inhabitants of the desert. Here in the Atacama desert, everything is intense : the elements and the landscapes, the sun and the moon. Creating Atacama Viajes, we not only wished to create a touristic company but also to highlight the local culture of San Pedro Atacama, , mais également mettre en valeur la culture locale de San Pedro d'Atacama, the one that we live and feel every day in front of the beauty of the desert and the volcanoes. Here, the ancestral perceives itself through our waking dreams. The amerindian heritage gives a unique personality to those territories. We really think that the beauty and the vastness of our landscapes can be understood only by learning about the great history of the first inhabitants of this area who lived here 12.000 years BC. Living in those wild lands we feel like the "sons of the sun", admiring every night above our heads the purest sky of the world. We become again the children of the mountain, our father is the Licancabur volcano and our mother the Kimal, as the legend says here... Those sacred character in the atacamenian oral culture invite us silently to discover the marvels of those lands, and transmit and preserve the love of the nature, and to share today that great emotion with you.
